February Cover!!!

     Yay!!! It's my favorite month! My birthday is in February, so naturally it's my favorite. Since I was born in February, I get lots of amethyst jewellery because it is the February stone. So I thought an amethyst themed cover would be fun! This is my first February cover ever! Last year I started in April, so I get to try some new covers! The way I did this was: I started with the outline of the crystals in a black fine-liner before picking different shades of purple to fill them in. Then I did the letters before using white paint to add some highlights (white gel pens would work too, and I would have used mine but they were all broken). This is not too hard, the crystals were easier to draw than I expected, the only downside is that this project is veeeeerrrry time consuming. But the finished look is sooo pretty!

    You certainly have a gift for art! I'd like to see some of your weekly spread ideas (assuming you do weekly spreads, that is😉).

    I love the amethysts! You did a lot better drawing them than I would’ve! Umm... I think it would be neat to see a landscape drawing.

      I like an occasional movie sit down (but honestly I'm more of a gamer), but it generally has to be Marvel. Anyway, what better way to remember movies you watch then with a journal page?!  As you can see, you have rating stars to log how much you like the movie, a spot for the date of when you watched it and comment below what the box should be for. April Cover

      The year is really flying by! And I have officially been doing bullet journal covers for one year! (See April cover post 2). This one is inspired by my love of gold and geometric things (usually combined). The wreath is really easy, just find a flower step by step and use a stencil for the hexagons.  I LOVE these colors for flowers, they work so well! If you have a favorite combo you'd like to share please comment and let me know! The letters are just typical me, black classic font; someone please help me find another font I like!!! "I Can Do This All Day"

 I actually happen to be a huge Marvel fan! So I thought I would do a project honouring everyone's favourite hero... Captain America! I used metallic pens for this which makes it look five times more awesome! The quote you see around Cap's shield is my all time favourite movie quote... maybe I use it too often.
