Love is the Weapon

    I thought it was about time that I did a quick tutorial on how to do some easy lettering shading! Start by making the letters, anything you want! Decide where you want your imaginary light source to come from, and use a black fineliner to make the shadow.  Next, use a grey marker to outline the black you just did.  Now, use a white-out pen (or a white gel pen) on the opposite side of your shading to create light streaks.  I LOVE cacti! And I am shocked that I have not done a cactus themed post yet! Even if you don't like cacti as much as I do, you are bound to love this project! I generally tend to colour my cacti and succulents quite brightly, but for this lettering, I tried to mix things up a bit. A bit of dull colour with a bit of bright looks great! If you try this project, use as many different types of green as you can! Cacti are so fun to doodle, please try this out!     Hope you like this project and try it out yourself!  I actually happen to be a huge Marvel fan! So I thought I would do a project honouring everyone's favourite hero... Captain America! I used metallic pens for this which makes it look five times more awesome! The quote you see around Cap's shield is my all time favourite movie quote... maybe I use it too often.  I love fall! It reflects the beauty of God's creation. Here is my September cover!!!    I absolutely love these colours, they compliment each other so well. Hi! I haven't posted in so long! I went on a long trip to the States, it was awesome! So now I'm in Edinburgh and getting back into my normal routine.
